Trouble Hitting the Hardwood

On April 1, 1967 the American Basketball Association had to adjust its league lineup before its first game was played. The Kansas City, Missouri Franchise was transferred to Denver, Colorado. The league also gave conditional approve to the Milwaukee, Wisconsin Club. The club never met the conditions and several years later joined the National Basketball Association. Exactly two years later, the Houston, Texas Club was given approval to transfer to Greensboro, North Carolina for the 1969-70. That club would become the Carolina Cougars.

The answer to yesterdays trivia question is Jeff Petruic played his last season in Organized Hockey with the Quad Cities Mallards of the United Hockey League during the 2006-07 season, capping an 18 year career. Todays triva question is in what major sports league did the Orange Tornadoes play in? The answer in tomorrows daily blog about Hockey.
